Ode to a Keithian Pint

The last beer,
I cry.
Drops splash
My taste buds are like
Whoa,
Whoa.

Been in love since St. Patty’s day
A few years back.
Only 17,They had no clue.
It was then your bubbles and incandescent glow
Made me want you more
Green.

As bark sprouts and leaves mulch,
The seasons pass and I wait
For today.

You arrest me
Darling
With your head.
I would steal unicorns from god
And bring them back to you,
My sweet.

Now I lay reposed,
Waiting for mercy.
Waiting to be sober
To fap
Once more.

Green beer and hard hats
I won’t make it to the bar

Erotik, in Two Parts

Part I:
I want you
From across the room
a shock-white head
and body golden
it’s like you’re Norwegian
or something stranger
but not like a stranger
because I want you
and your heady art
to coat my throat
as perked as
pleasure — a gasp
is it
imagination?
no
it’s you.

Part II:
The corner of the bar
is where we are
cool glass
as hands clutch
not a wallet
but you
when I finish
I feel a slow
joy spread
through stretched
limbs and toppled
glasses
it’s you
my brew
my Labbatt Blue
